About a month ago a friend asked if she could “borrow” my kids to help socialize a litter of puppies they had on their farm. We had been talking, and thinking, and even praying about a second dog for almost a year… and when we met these puppies, one stood out right away…
And earlier this week, she officially became a part of our family! Meet Cookie Karth!
My oldest son, and Cookie, his 4H dog!
Already she’s proven to be made of sturdy stuff, meeting a bunch of people and other dogs at the Farmers Market yesterday, and she’s smart (hence her name) and also pretty chill for a puppy!
I haven’t been educating as much on utilizing YL products with pets as I used to, so I hope with the new arrival, I can restart teaching about animals and oil use, plus which products are an asset if you have pets! We have had a host of pets through the years, many of them living much longer than expected, and we believe it is partially because of their holistic care, and also how/what we feed, plus how much caring for our home in a toxin free way also impacts our pets.
(In case you didn’t know, Young Living has a line of pet products to safely use with animals, with my personal favorites being the shampoo, the ointment and T-Away, which is good for traumatic or stressful situations!)
Learning to be submissive around our lab, Daisy!
In the meantime, enjoy some puppy pictures and know a ray of sunshine has beamed open in our family with this new little love we are all getting to know! ~Naomi
On her first hike, er, Karth Trek!
My oldest the day he met Cookie, when he started to convince us we needed another dog.
