Being a busy mom means I don’t have time for laundry battles... which is great since my laundry hack for stains basically works miracles!

This dirty baby onesie is no match for my laundry hack!
Our foster daughter has started solids, which means more mess than I want to deal with! The onesie above did battle with pasta sauce and black beans... and lost the first round!

Luckily, I keep a Thieves bar soap on hand just for this type of clothes emergency! (Thieves... not just for immune support & making your home smell like Christmas!)

Thieves bar soap to the rescue!
To use Thieves soap as a stain remover, first you soak the clothing in cold water, then vigorously rub the soap over both sides of the stained fabric.

Soak clothing pretreated with Thieves soap in cold water
Once you’ve covered all the stains well, fill the sink or a bucket with cold water and soak for at least an hour. For very severe stains I sometimes will rinse and redo treatment with soap before a wash, but otherwise I just toss item in the laundry with everything else and wash as usual!

Voila! Baby onesie is stain free! Thanks, Thieves!
Very rarely I’ll find something that didn’t get completely stain free in the first wash- in that case I just repeat all of the above & wash it in the next load. Never has that failed me.

I just wish I had discovered this hack when my boys were much smaller, but now you know (and I do too)! If you don’t have a YL membership or your account has been inactive, let‘s get you hooked back up so you too can enjoy the power of Thieves!

Hope you are staying safe & well! ~Naomi
