As I write this, our family is finishing our sixth week of homeschooling. (We took one week off for vacation already!) I really did not see that being our path, even though my husband and I were both homeschooled. But I also did not expect to be raising virtual twins, plus an extra baby, so… here we are!

Peppermint is my second love, when it comes to the starter essential oils. It has such a lovely cool fragrance, and with fall here, I’m already craving my winter favorite- hot mint cocoa!
Our peppermint has many uses, including the cooling action that comes with the scent! Try a drop on a wet washcloth for a relaxing wipe down on a hot day, or add 10 drops to a couple ounces of water to make a spray.
The scent of peppermint essential oil is know for its invigorating aroma, so this is the perfect oil to diffuse at work or during a workout. Try adding a couple drops of Stress Away to peppermint and your home will smell like a mint cookie!
The vitality supplement form of peppermint is an excellent support for digestive health. You can add a drop to almond milk or use a few drops in a capsule after a heavy meal.
My husband swears by a couple drops in his drinking water at work or traveling to keep him energized and focused.
My personal favorite peppermint use is to add a drop to a batch of hot cocoa to make it Christmasy! I also love using it as a second layer oil during a massage- you apply it after the first oil to help “drive” it in with the menthol cooling action! Pretty cool! 😎
